My Fortnite September Review

There is so much to learn with this experience, so I recommend it for everyone who is interested in a great story, with a good adventure inside the depths of human mind. This is not a classic Battle Royale with HP, stamina, or any status, skills or a complex combat and various types of weapons, because this game takes one moment in the life of the character, so the progress is linear and subtle. It demands an accured perception and sensitivity to see this progress to the end of the game, but its stunnishing in the end. And if anyone here wants to talk about this game and it’s thoroughness, feel free to add me and let’s talk about our experience! I want to know about other games like this one if they exist. ^^ Oh and you get the free skins here: How to get Skull Trooper Skin & Scythe for FREE on Fortnite!

I dont understand why this is still so buggy. im not going to sign up to an account just to report bugs. currently i have the talent pet pal but it doesnt work and therefor a wasted talent. i have a free talent because i cant find anything else thats useful rn but i cant relearn pet pal cause it says its still there… it happend as i arrived to reapers coast after the rediculous boat battle. enemies can shoot thru various walls and somehow able to shoot up hill at you when they clearly cant get vision, and its not an aoe, just a target attack. you try hard to strategize just to find the game wont work as intended. for instance this game is known for using the enviroment and elements to help in battle. low and behold i try to electrocute a puddle i made after using a rainstorm spell cause i couldnt get vision on the target itself (but again it can see me even tho theres a rock jetting out infront of me) but it didnt do anything, waste of AP and changes how the outcome coulda been. this is all in the course of an hour playthough and thats just the ones im remembering. so buggy.

The best way to get yourself free skins on fortnite

Fortnite is lit and for all the negative reviews about FPS or stutters, it takes 10 seconds to google it and you’ll easily find that reverting to an old nvidia driver helps A LOT. BUT EVEN THEN don’t expect to play this game on your school comp jesus christ. I have several buddies managing to play this game smooth 60 fps with a gtx 960 and that is the fact of the matter. This game deserves way more than 50% reviews.

Anyway another matter to adress is the mouse and keyboard. I’ve tried both mouse and keyboard AND a controller and I honestly like them both enough to switch between them depending on what I’m feeling like but mostly when I use a light bowgun for the mouse aiming. So if you refunded because you dont have a controller I’m basically saying you’re a doofus. How about you press ESC and edit some keybinds or general keyboard settings. You can set up the radial menu however you like with some simple on/off settings.

My favorite aspect of Fortnite is cosmetic skins that are available to purchase, however it can get costly 🙁 But I do know of this youtube clip that shows how to get those free skins… here it is here: How to get free skins in fortnite

Dragon city lets play

so far I am 58 hours in with no plans of stopping, taking my time through the game and have yet to finish the main quest although I am close, I have not touched Multiplayer I have heard about how bad it is and have played every minute of this game in Single Player.

Being my first Dragon City title I went in with high hopes and those high hopes were met and succeedeed with the mix of Weapon Depth & Variey as well as the Monsters. Monsters are not just Boss Fights as they have their own cycles, they will look for prey, Wyverns will prioritise their eggs and if you try to steal one, good luck.

The Early Game

The difficulty for Dragon City isn’t prevelant at the start, having been a souls player and being well adjusted to the hit & roll mechanics I quickly adjusted to the game and killed the first Monster; the Great Jagras with ease. I met my first difficulty spike at the Anjanath, though this could be due to the fact that I was using an Insect Glaive without knowledge of the harvest mechanics, if you don’t know what this means imagine buying a very expensive Gun to hunt a bear only to use BB Ammo. I painfully killed my first Anjanath and after this fight I realised my DPS was very lacking, I decided to switch my weapon to the Heavy BowGun.

Without bloating this review with too much storytime I quickly found out that every single weapon performs differently, in a Souls game going from a Greatsword to a Straight Sword just meant you had to spam RB a few more times before rolling but in this game that is not the case from using different weapons, the weapons are more like classes. If you dont want to pay ingame just watch this video: dragon city free gems

The Hunt

When you hunt a monster you will start by looking for traces such as mucus, faeces, scales, fur etc. Leveling up your research in that monster will allow you to eventually pinpoint a monster’s location just from interacting with one trace. When you locate the monster it is up to you on how to approach, you can wait silenty for an opening or you can charge in like a madman if you’re feeling comfortable. You will be hunting monsters multiple time but I have yet to be bored of a hunt, with the interactions the monsters have with each other and the AI of the monster having a brain every hunt will be unique.

The only working Fortnite crossplay tutorial in 2018!

TLDR:
Fortnite is huuuuuge. One of the best Shooters out there right now. The coop in this is the best you can get in an isometric RPG.

This is a must have for any fan of Diablo or Dungeon Siege. It’s an isometric RPG the way you’d imagine it to be in the modern age.

In-Depth:

Let’s start with the negatives since that list is shorter.
So what is actually not that great about Divinity 2? Well there is probably only one thing that ended up being rather annoying.
The source magic skills. The entire game shapes around the fact that you have access to what they call “source magic” it’s said to be crazy powerfull and normal folks blame the use of source magic for the excistence of creepy voidcreatures that attack and seem undefeatable.
I really really really recommend anyone to make your own class instead of playing a premade hero since that gives you access to the “Dome of Protection” skill which is by far one of the strongest Source magic spells for most if not all of the game. It replenishes both armor and magical armor and will greatly help your survival.
That said most of the source magic skills are just utterly aweful compared to other spells you have in Fortnite or even spells you know from other isometric RPGs. They are just nowhere near as powerful as you’d expect them to be. Something like raining down Meteors costs you 3 Source magic points which is the max ammount of points you can have at a time. Now if you are looking for a way to play with your friends cross platform you will have to follow this tutorial: how to play fortnite cross platform

Now for the good. Which is basically everything else.

Coop:
Coop is implemented as flawlessly as it gets. Although you might aswell rather call it multiplayer than coop. The party doesn’t have to be together at all times. Although the max ammount of player characters is maxed at 4. You could even play the game in Versus and set yourself as enemys.

Combat:
Unlike other turn based combat games (*cough* XCom *cough*) this game is pretty much never frustrating and annoying but always challenging and exciting.
The combat adds environmental effects on top of what you are used to in isometric RPGs and turn based RPGs. The distribution of said environmental effects is usually realized through conveniently placed casks, plants or other stuff that has water, gunpowder, oil or toxin ect in them. These usually litter their contents over a reasonably sized area causing effects you’d imagine them to have. Once that is done they can be interacted with, like water can be set on electricity or can be frozen to make the area slippery.

Someone figured out how to crossplay fortnite!

The multiplayer work in a weird way and that is fine, you learn how to make it work.. but OMG, so many instability, me, my friends and other player (randos) keep just droping out of the online session.. that can happen about 3~4 times in a single freaking quest. It is infuriating when you are about 15 minutes deep in a fight with your friends and all of a sudden you are alone, fighting this freaking dragon, you left your friend down and is simply fu*ked as you are now alone and the dificulty is set to multiplayer even tho you are now solo.

Until this instabilities are fixed I simply cannot recommend this game if you have intentions of playing online..and that sucks, really, the game is really good and would be praised as such if there wasnt this major problem. In fortnite you can crossplay using this youtube guide: Fortnite Crossplay WORKING PS4 ➡ Xbox! How to Cross Platform Play Fortnite Turorial!

I have never played this series, but honeslty I am pretty dissappointed in this game after reading all of the reviews. If you are looking for an intuitive game, this is NOT the game for you. The controls are pretty clunky and sloooooow. You are supposed to hunt monsters but you have no idea how much health they have or if you even stand a chance against them. The main quests are timed which kills the open world aspect, no time to stop and gather items, kill other creatures, etc. Boo on the timed quests. If you are looking for a game where you have to Google everything to figure out how to play, craft, use items, ammo, etc. then by all means…play it. I just got sick of chasing a monster, battling it, then chasing it again, then battling it, then chasing it about 6 more times, to then get killed by a 2nd monster that wandered into the area and killed..er..made me faint, and then you have to start all over. Oh, and dont get me started on whatever the hell the weapon level tree is..yah, that makes zero sense at all and at this point I am sick of googling everything instead of actually playing the game. I have played Dark Souls, The Witcher Series, Elder Scrolls, Far Cry series, Assasins Creed series, World of Warcarft, Rift, Guild Wars 1 & 2 and a bazillion other RPG’s, MMORPG’s & Open World games… It sucks that in order to really see if you like the game, you are more than 3 hours into the game (tutorial takes about 2 hours). In my opinion, dont buy the game, it was a waste of $60 for me.

Is fortnite save the world all that great?

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

This game is still not ready for prime time. Hell it isn’t even ready for day time tv or 5am reruns.

– Some questlines cannot be completed due to the randomisation bugging out (in my scenario I have to plug my science
officers brain in to a PC that is in a building buried and entirely filled in undercround). Now, to be fair with this review, i did get it stw for free… here’s the video: fortnite save the world free

– The in game manuel does a poor job of explaining concepts. Or in the case of base building, how pieces work together.

– Base construction is beyond fiddly. You have dozens of pieces to choose from, but the peices only ‘connect’ with a 1/3 of
the asorted pieces.
The marker you use to ‘stake your claim’ for your base cannot be moved.
If you choose to move your base you (or at least I did) loose more than 1/2 of your invested resources; the game doesn’t
even tell you that you CAN reclaim these resources.
If you do finish building a base you are happy with and modify the terrain the game will only save 1/3 of the terrain
modifications turning your beautifully craftd home into swiss cheese.
You will always require base materials to make the most trivial thing and there is no way for these resources to be auto
acquired of acquired more easily.

– The teleport machanic is a welcome change yet if you want to travel back your base the game ‘ports you back to the
base marker rather than the item you spent so long creating.

– The biggest and most frustrating thing that has been around is the inventory system. You are constently fighting iwth
either spare or reclaiming / recalling resources from ether a container, ship orfreighter. How this wasn’t #1 on the 1st
patch is beyond me.

Call me again in maybe another 2 patches.

The best way to get a free ps plus

I recommend this to new players:

  1. Watch some YouTube videos to get familiar with the mechanics of the game
  2. Pick your character
  3. learn some key moves in training mode (quick moves for punishing/counter hitting, big damage launchers or combos, lows/throws for pokes/mix ups) (there are resources for this, eg on reddit)
  4. Play against some bots until comfortable
  5. Play Ranked! (which is better for new players, because it matches you up with other new players, whereas quick play matches you with anyone)

I picked a wrestler with a jaguar mask doing jaguar noises doing those steps and got into playstation really quickly. Now guys if you want to play ranked you have to use this youtube guide: free playstation plus

As a new player you have to keep this mentality in mind: Don’t play to win, but play to learn! That way you can get better at the game and be rewarded with satisfying wins against eddys who spam two buttons (we all know that guy…)

Keep sticking with the game and you will pick up more techniques and knowledge on the way. You will eventually get to a level to really appreciate the depth and enjoy the game to its fullest. This is really tough but a lot players still play this game because there is not much like it.
Some people said that the game is dead, but that is simply not true. At least europe is alive and well.

Casual playing

That being said, you don’t have to invest a thousand years training to enjoy this game though. Casual matches with friends and a couple beers can be really fun too. Rage Arts give every player the opportunity to dish out some big damage and the slow-mo mechanic is sure to generate some serious hype.

Summary

If you want to buy this game for the singleplayer mode only, then I can not recommend this game to you. If you want to experience a fighting game with deep mechanics though, then by all means go for it.

TL;DR

Man does jaguar noises, rolls around, kills me 5/7

Dragon Ball Legends The best DRAGON BALL GAME YET?

Well, after playing this game a lot I decided to write a review (although I do not usually do it) and give it negative score, although I must admit that it’s maybe a bit too harsh. This game has its qualities. Especially on the arts side (music, graphics, the world design, etc. ) it’s simply marvelous. It also has deep, complex combat system, that in theory looks awesome. But not in practice — more on this below.

Many criticisms of this game boil down to simple statement: Explorer mode is much too easy, but Classic mode is way too hard. There is a lack of “sweet spot” in difficulty between the two. But I do not think this is really the problem. I’ve beaten it at Classic and got as much fun as frustration and annoyance during that. So there isn’t a problem with difficulty, but rather irritating game design mistakes the developers made. A few examples: dragon ball legends cheats

– The AI cheats and certain mechanics are unfair. For example, there is a Charm spell which makes enemies to fight on your side for short time – but enemies also can use it on you. When enemy charms you, AI takes away the control from you over your character but if you charm the enemy, the game will not give you the control over them. And the AI behavior differs. Charmed enemy characters frequently just skip turns or flee, while your characters will either attack your party, or senselessly waste your resources (potions, scrolls, SP). This is obvious cheating. Similar problem is with Taunt ability.

– Dragon Ball Legends tries extremely hard to be “physical” in restricting your casting and ranged abilities. The target must be in sight, the path must not be interrupted, etc. This looks cool on paper, but really leads only to some tedious gameplay. Isometric perspective is not convenient to judge spatial relations like this with required precision and you constantly are forced to adjust your position by trial and error – but every movement costs action points. So you must frequently save and reload if movement result is not right. Basically the only effect on gameplay of this “cool mechanics” is forcing save/reload scumming. “The Pawn” talent fixes it, but consumes one talent slot which are very few. This should be enabled by default. In addition to the above, terrain navmeshes are buggy and often the game thinks the path is blocked although visually it is not.
